EITV Replay equipment is an innovative solution for operation in DTV broadcast re-transmitters totally compatible with the Brazilian DTV standard SBTVD or ISDB-TB.
The equipment is target mainly for the functions of DTV multiplexer and re-multiplexer.
With the addition of input and output optional interfaces, EITV Replay also realizes the following functions:
- Professional receiver of terrestrial (ISDB-TB) and satellite (DVB- S2 / DVB-S) DTV signals;
- Modulator for the terrestrial (ISDB-TB) and satellite (DVB-S2 / DVB-S) DTV standards.
Multiplexer
- Multiplexing and PSI/SI generation in conformity with ABNT NBR 15603 Brazilian standard;
- Generation of information for tables: PAT, PMT, NIT, SDT, TDT, TOT, BIT;
- Configuration of timezone for automatic time setting based on UTC;
- Configuration of the tables that will be generated on the transport stream;
- Configuration of virtual channel number;
- Configuration of service id;
- Configuration of table repetition rate in miliseconds;
- Up to 4 independent ASI inputs for real time multiplexing;
- Up to 4 redundant ASI outputs for real time multiplexing;
- Integration with external encoders through ASI inputs;
- A/V, SI, EPG, closed caption and object/data carousel automatic multiplexing;
- PIDs filtering, regeneration of TS or BTS tables and data in real time;

Re-multiplexer
- TS re-multiplexing in conformity with ABNT NBR 15601 Brazilian standard;
- Generation of the transport stream organized in hierarquical layers (layers A, B, C);
- IIP (ISDB-T Information Packet) packet generation;
- Generation of TMCC (Transmission and Multiplexing Configuration Control) information;
- Transmission mode and guard interval configuration;
- Segment, modulation, code rate and time interleaving of the layers configuration;
- 1-SEG content transmission for partial reception;
- Emergency alert flag enabling configuration;
- Automatic packet ordering to build the OFDM frame;
- Generation of signal for HDTV, SDTV and Mobile TV transmission;
- BTS real time output over IP (Gigabit-Ethernet), ASI or modulator interfaces;
- External 10Mhz clock reference input for synchronization in
SFN (single frequency network) networks.
